Finally known: this will be Harry and Meghan’s first Netflix series
Seven months after Prince Harry (36) and Meghan Markle (39) announced they had signed a lucrative million dollar deal with Netflix, it is finally clear their first production on behalf of Archewell Productions will be. Invictus Games’ Twitter account brings out the news of the new Hollywood producers.
The word is out: the first Netflix production in which Harry and Meghan are participating is a series about the run-up to the Invictus Games of 2020. This international sporting event for soldiers and veterans who were physically or psychologically injured while serving in the army is Harry’s initiative. Currently, the working title of the series is Heart of Invictus.
Oscar-winning documentary makers Orlando von Einsiedel and Joanna Natasegara show in the heart of Invictus ‘the human stories and resilient spirit behind the Invictus Games. They follow a group of exceptional competitors from all over the world who are preparing for the Invictus Games that would take place in The Hague in 2020. The event has since been moved to 2022.
