Meghan donates 2000 children’s books to libraries and schools

Meghan Markle (39) donates 2000 copies of her children’s book ‘The Bench’ to various American institutions. Libraries and schools, among others, will receive the book as a gift, let the Duchess and Duke of Sussex know on the website of their organization Archewell.

“The Duchess and Archewell have the support of The Bench publishing house to send 2,000 copies free of charge to libraries, community centres, schools and charities across the country,” the website reads.

Meghan released her first children’s book on Tuesday. The Bench is about the relationship between a father and son, seen through the eyes of a mother. The book stems from a poem the Duchess gave to her husband as a Father’s Day gift in 2019, a month after the birth of their son Archie.
